Brief Bio

Bassnectar was started in the mid-nineties by Lorin Ashton. They use electronic methods to embellish a wide variety of musical styles, including ragtime, punk rock, blues, batucada, polka, salsa, film scores, gangsta rap, beatboxing, balkan gypsy music, ska, death metal, and dub.
Bassnectar Concert Tickets
Bassnectar’s live show typically features Lorin Ashton performing, with the sound being managed by a separate part of the project. The music is accompanied by three very large LCD screens showing the work of visual artist Videolicious, which includes high definition video and photography with a close relation to the tempo and substance of Ashton’s music.
